Separate the two pieces
Remove the tape to free the wires..
After the three screws taken off, the internal block is free from the chassis...
Pull it out of the enclosure
Old ram
New shiny and red ram
installed
Cover it back
"There be RAM, captain, there be ram.."

Looking at the pics you don't technically need to remove the CD tray to change the ram.
