I was tired long before sundown, but really we had fun! Missed out on the watermelon and the tub of icecream, though, but thanks for Okie hospita;ity, Kak Sal and Bill! We won't be able to forget this visit!

Trip to OK

In the morning of the 10th, we left NE Barnes at about 6:30 am...State Rt 169 in KS, got rerouted and ended up in this village where the road was being resurfaced..
Saw a brand new Walmart on the KS/OK border, yahoo! Stopped for the bathroom, breakfast supplies and rest, at 102 degrees F!! Ganguin looked thirsty, too!
This is the Illinois River in Oklahoma..
Amazing, endless OKlahoma panorama..Got to that exit 121 Shell station at 1:20, as ETAed..
Here come kak Sal...

and we're there!!

July 31st Dalam Sejarah

Two notables:
Amin called in the morning of July 31st, announcing the birth of his baby. On this last July morning of the year, I became a grandpa, or Tok Ayah...
It was also the day Pah and I got married in not so distant past, 28 years ago today...
Two in One!! What a day!
